Exciting Times

At this time of the year in Stampin' Up!, it is pretty exciting, I must say.  Last year was my first catalogue changeover, and I was still just trying to figure out my way around the demonstrator website, hadn't yet decided to get my own Stampin' Up! website, and a blog?  Yeah that was far down the priority list too.

This time around, I have seen a full year of a catalogue, have held a few workshops, managed to have my first successful party, and even have signed up a new demonstrator (Congratulations goes out to Andrea Wong!).  I have loved the In Colours that are now on their way out, and am ready to usher in the new set of 2019-2021 In Colours.  I have grown with the catalogue, become familiar with it, learned to love entirely new sets and new techniques, and been able to expand the boundaries which I had unknowingly set for myself at the start.  Two Occasions catalogues, and another round of Sale-A-Bration have also come and gone.

I am sad to see the old catalogue find its way to my shelf, but excited awaiting the new one in the mail.  I have gotten a sneak peak online, and have seen so many of the samples as people that went to this season's OnStage events were able to get some of them in their hands early.  I am excited to learn that there will be an OnStage event here in Edmonton this fall, and actually have a little idea of what that means now. I am looking forward to being able to go - and even to maybe be able to say I have some friends to go with too!

I have to say, this journey has been very good for me.  I have learned a lot, and it has given me a place to relax, to create, and to release the anxiety and stress that plagues me, especially this past year as I dealt with appendicitis and now chronic laryngitis.  Being home on sick leave from work is not without its stress, and my crafting has really helped a lot.

I am looking forward to the 2019-2020 catalogue, to having a new team member, getting to know my own team leader better, and to continuing down this path with Stampin' Up! and seeing where it will take me next!
