Paper Samplers
I bought the Large Letter dies just for this project. My nephew and his girlfriend were expecting a baby. I decided I wanted to make their gift. This is what I came up with!
I used the background paper (some old Stampin' Up! DSP I had - at least I believe it is SU ) as a starting point since they weren't sure about a colour scheme yet. It went from there. I rummaged through all of my stamps once the colours were chosen, picked one and on I went. It is an old retired set called The Nicest Things, and the sentiment is from a current, but retiring, Follow Your Dreams. (The last of those two has an amazing dream catcher stamp in it, and there is a coordinating die set too!)
I punched out the sentiment and some additional layers with the Story Label punch. I used a ton of dimensionals on this project, and glue dots for the flowers too. I used some brads to attach the flower layers together.
They loved the gift, and so much so that I offered to do another for my nephew's stepson. The last picture is the one that I made to put up in our kitchen. I think I have found another project that I love to do as much as making cards!
