The Catalogue Launches Soon!

So, so happy that the preorder has started on the new catalogue!  I got to look at it at the start of May, but only online.  I don't know about you, but sometimes I like to have things in my hands and see them up close and personal.  Getting the catalogue in the mail was such a great thing! I got it in the evening, and sat looking at it all night long.  

The thing that was even better was getting my first new set in the mail this week.  As a demonstrator, I get a chance to order a selection from the catalogue before it goes live in June.  There were a couple that I couldn't wait to get my hands on. 

Bird Ballad Suite, a fabulous set with DSP (Designer Series Paper), stamps, dies and more, was the first one.  I keep seeing wonderful ideas, and now having used my Stampin' Blends as much as I have, I know that even I can make this set look amazing. 

Finding a set with tulips and a windmill... that one put me on the edge of my seat!  My mother is a straight from the canals of Netherlands herself, and so this one is near and dear to my heart already.  Unfortunately, Winds of Change was not available in the preorder, so I will have to wait on that one with the rest of you. 

Some of my favourite sets, Beautiful You and Wonderful Moments, are being carried over.  I love how easy it is to make a beautiful, elegant card for so many occasions with these stamp sets.  I have one tucked away that I can't share just yet, but after my daughter's university graduation, I will post a picture of what I did with Beautiful You, some DSP patterned paper, and some cotton twine!
