Crafting leads to friendships
It's funny how something that seems so solitary... my craft space, me going down and spending time hanging out and playing with all of my things... can lead to new friendships.
I was scrolling Facebook as so many of us do, and saw a post in my Demonstrator group asking for people to share their business page. There was a catch. You share yours, but commit to visiting EVERY other one that is shared and engaging in a comment or something on those pages. Easy... not! There are MANY pages I have to go to, but... I ended up making connections with a demonstrator all the way from Kentucky! For those that don't know, that is more than 3000 km away from me. I posted on her page, commented about something... and it began. We have now partnered up and are sharing photos to each other's pages, and have started to get to know each other.
I started this blog a few years ago thinking it might help get my things noticed. I added a group on Facebook, and now even a business page. It is slowly working. I have gained a customer, a very sweet lady that reminds me of my late mother in law. I have now got a demonstrator that chose me of all local demos to sign up under. And now I have a new friend across the miles.
I hope that I am able to keep touching people through my crafts, and that I continue to connect with more amazing people. ❤
