Mistakes happen...

2022-2024 In Colour Classic Stampin' Pads
People tend to be very judgemental of their own crafting. I know I am. I remember when I first started making cards, I was rarely happy with what I made. Now, I am amazed by some of the things I have created,  but still see the flaws.

Difficult as ot is for me to do, today I am sharing some of those flaws. Let's face it. My cards are handmade. I am far from perfect. S**t happens. And honestly, If I am truthful to myself, the flaws I see most likely won't notice or think of them as flaws.

The above card has stray green ink. My acrylic block had ink on the side that I didn't notice until it was too late. Sometimes things like that can be covered or masked. I do my best.

I am baring my mistakes because people need to see that even more experienced crafters make them, and ot is not the end of the world. Truly. Perfectionist anxiety would be the death of me if I didn't work at it and give myself a break.
When I stamped the backs of my cards with the copyright they require and my branded stamp, I noticed some red smudges here amd there on the white card. I could have fixed them and decided not to after all. I am trying to embrace my imperfection.

I hope that this post helps people take a step forward in whatever craft you choose. It is worth taking the risks.  You dont NEED to be perfect, it can still be enjoyable and satisfying.

If you would like to take that step and try stamping please comment and we can talk. If you would like to try the set I used in these cards, it truly is easy. I used stamps, ink and paper. Two colours of ink and a black (or not) if you want. You could always use the green or flower colour. Stamping off provides the light and dark of the flowers.  Use the following links if you want to check it out.
